KTRM Basketball Update

A double-header against Saint Joseph’s resulted in two victories for the Bulldog basketball teams yesterday at Pershing arena. The women lead for only about 20% of the game, but lead when it counted, going on a run as the game wound down, with a final score of 60-54. Senior Allie Norton led the scoring with 19. Announcer Michael Menkhus picked Norton as the KTRM player of the game for her offense in the first half, contributing half of the Bulldog’s first half points and keeping the ‘dogs within striking distance when they rallied later in the game, and her reliability as a leader on the team.

The men had a decisive victory against the Pumas, breaking triple figures with about 4 minutes remaining in the game, with a final score of 112-75. Five Bulldogs were in double digit scoring – Seth Jackson, the Myers twins, Isaac Gardner and Andrew Vander Zwaag. The men made 14 three pointers.
