Rush Week during September is a way to get involved at Truman State, and there are many different reasons to participate. Truman offers a choice of social, service and professional organizations.
There will be some organizations with later rush weeks, such as the service sororities and fraternities. Be aware most sororities only rush during the fall, while most fraternities rush during the fall and spring.

Greek Week started March 29 and runs to April 5, beginning with the Big Event and including Lip Sync, penny competition and a 90’s themed Dance-a-Thon.
Greek Week adviser Rochelle Williams said Greek Week has a different theme every year. After she researched previous Greek Weeks from more than 40 colleges and universities across the nation and interviewed about 30 Greeks applying to be a part of the committee, Williams said she assembled 10 students and five Greek Life staff members who chose the new theme and implemented the new format.
“Of the 30 people I interviewed, they all say their favorite part of Greek Week is making new friends and being part of a team,” she said. “They provided me with their goals and expectations. Greek Week is theirs, and I want them to feel that way.” […]
