November 26 Truman delayed start

Truman State University’s classes will not start until 10:30 a.m. tomorrow because of inclement weather.

The University alerted students of the delayed start via TruAlert Sunday evening. The alert indicated the delayed start time and stated designated essential personnel are to report as directed.

Janet Gooch, executive vice president for academic affairs and provost, sent students a follow-up email Sunday evening clarifying that all classes prior to 10:30 a.m. are cancelled. She also said any classes with a scheduled start time after 10:30 a.m. will not be affected unless individual faculty decide otherwise.

The City of Kirksville has issued a snow emergency through Monday morning, and Truman is closely monitoring weather conditions, according to an email the Department of Public Safety sent to students.
