Gym equipment is kept under tarps during construction. Tarps were also placed under construction materials on the court.
Painted air ducts hang from the ceiling of Pershing Arena. Before this summer, the gym did not have visible ducts.
Pershing Arena’s construction takes place on and above the court. Pershing and Magruder Hall’s HVAC updates were under the same improvement contract.
The corner of the gym sits full of construction materials and equipment. The floor is covered in cardboard to protect the softer area of the gym floor.
