Missouri, Adair County pass Proposition B

Missouri voters have passed Proposition B significantly raising Missouri minimum wage over the next five years.

62.27 percent of voters across the state voted yes on the proposition, while 37.73 percent voted to reject it.

Voters in Adair County elected to pass Proposition B with 4,818 votes, or 56.90 percent of the vote.

Proposition B regarded raising Missouri’s current minimum wage, $7.85 per hour, to $12 per hour by 2023. Missouri’s minimum wage will increase as a result of passing Proposition B. The minimum wage will increase by 85 cents per year for five years until the minimum wage reaches $12 per hour in 2023.
