Truman State University swim team hosts the Alumni Swim Meet Sept. 13. The swimmers split into the white team and the purple team to compete against each other. At the end of the meet, Truman swim Alumni come back to race. Freshman Wade LaValle and sophomore Eli Springvloed swim the 1000 at the Alumni Swim Meet. LaValle and Springvloed raced against each other to earn points for their separate teams. Freshman Ian Artlet and sophomore Jacob Wolf swim the 200 individual medley at the Alumni Swim Meet. Artlet and Wolf passed each other while doing the breaststroke leg of the medley. Sophomore Anabelle Cook and sophomore Madison Schmidt celebrate during the Alumni Swim Meet. Cook and Schmidt hugged after completing their first 100 fly race of the season. Junior Aiden Moore and sophomore Nicholas Richter swim the 100 fly at the Alumni Swim Meet. Moore and Richter raced to earn points for the white team. Sophomore Madison Schmidt competes in the 500 freestyle during the Alumni Swim Meet. Schmidt earned Bulldog of the Meet for the women.
