Women’s Basketball Loses to Drury University

Truman State University women’s basketball lost 57-46 to an undefeated Drury University Monday night.

The Bulldogs won their previous two games by at least 20 points each and entered the game against Drury with a 10-3 record. Following this loss, the Bulldogs have a 5-2 GLVC record and are ranked fourth in the conference.

Freshman center Katie Jaseckas pulled down 18 rebounds, the most by a Bulldog since 2008 and the 10th most rebounds in a single game in school history. These rebounds put Truman within three points of the Drury Lady Panthers with 7:30 left in the game, but the Bulldogs didn’t score for the rest of the game.

Next, the Bulldogs will go on a four-game road trip. Their first game will be 4:30 p.m. Jan. 18 at the University of Indianapolis.
