Republican Danny Busick has defeated Democrat Joni Perry in the race for the Missouri House of Representatives seat in the 3rd District.
Busick will be replacing Nate Walker as state representative for the 3rd District.
Voters in the 3rd District chose Busick with 67.466 percent of the vote, while Perry received 32.534 percent.
Adair County voters cast 3,660 votes for Busick, earning him 54.51 percent of the local vote. Perry earned 3,052 votes, 45.46 percent of the votes in Adair County.
