Being a foodie can be difficult in the age of food trucks. Having a favorite restaurant is easy <\/span>\u2014<\/span> there’s an address, a set menu and a familiar ambiance to the location. Falling in love with a food truck is not so simple. <\/span>
\n<\/span>
\n<\/span>Food trucks are always on the move, looking to serve as many communities and events as possible. Their menu is ever-changing, as they are limited to how many items they can offer on a particular day. Because trucks are limited as to how much food they can prepare before they head out for the day and how much space there is on the truck, daily specials are commonplace.<\/span>
\n<\/span>
\n<\/span>So, where do you find them? How do you know what food they’re going to be serving? It takes a little bit of determination to be an avid food truck foodie, but here’s a guide to get you started.<\/span>

\n<\/span>Attend food truck events: <\/strong>
\n<\/span>Major food truck events are always a great way to seek out trucks you already love as well as try other ones. Luckily, St. Louis has a variety of large food-truck-filled events, especially during the summertime. Favorites such as Food Truck Friday<\/a><\/span>\u00a0in Tower Grove Park, which runs the second Friday of each month from May through October, offer plenty of choices of where to dine.<\/span>

\n<\/span>Do your research:<\/strong>
\n<\/span>Know where to look to find food truck news and calendars of upcoming events. Typically, food events are sponsored by area magazines, such as St. Louis Magazine<\/a>, Sauce Magazine<\/a>\u00a0 and Feast Magazine<\/a>. Each of these magazines keeps up-to-date on the goings on of the food truck world. Be sure to read their blogs and newsletters to stay informed.<\/span>

\n<\/span>Stay in touch with social media:<\/strong>
\n<\/span>Food trucks want you to be able to find them. They usually announce where they are going to be each morning.<\/span><\/p>\n
