“Cousin Crew” with teammates Reed, 6, and Tucker, 6, win against “Catch the Spirit.” The “Cousin Crew” won the fastest time in the 5-6 age group, with a time of 1:25.
Team “Sharkbait” captained by Emmett, 7, wins his heat. His competition, “Float Like a Butterfly,” took on water before they completed their lap.
Trio of Mason, 8, Evan, 5, and Carson, 8, compete against the “Surf Bros.” The team lost without taking on water.
Helen, 7, and Oliver, 8, prepare before the heat begins. Their team, the “Space Invaders,” secured two victories, including best design and fastest time of 1:39 for their age group.
Team “Doggy Paddle” with Adelaide, 10, and Emma, 10, win their heat in the 10-and-up age group. Their victory was secured after team “SOS Pirates” flipped their vessel.
The “SOS Pirates” team, including Raylynn, 13, Robin, 11, Remi, 9, and Ruby, 7, swim to the edge of the pool after their boat took on water, eliminating them from the competition. The team was presented the “Titanic Award,” which is given for best capsize.
Kale, 11, and Kyston, 10, with the team name “The Shoops” finishes their half-lap. During the second half of their race, their vessel capsized.
Kid’s boat race team “Bananas Inc.” with Abby, 10, and Anna, 10, compete against team “The Endurance” in their heat. “Bananas Inc.” won their race and won best design in their banana boat.
