Whiskey and Turkey Festival returns to the Square

The annual Turkey and Whiskey festival takes over the square Sept 7. Held on September 7th with bar tables, food trucks, and various activities set up on Elson Street.

Hyvee employees run a turkey leg station at the event. They were five dollars each and grilled in front of customers.

People gather around live music in front of The Press Room. Two bands play throughout the night: Deadwood, from Kirksville, and rikeR.

Groups of four play Corn Hole beside the food trucks. The Turkey and Whiskey festival had a variety of activities, from bingo to ax throwing.
