Republican Josh Hawley has defeated incumbent Democratic Sen. Claire McCaskill and won the election and will represent Missouri in the United States Senate.
Hawley won 51.425 percent of the vote in Missouri while McCaskill reached just 45.466 percent.
Hawley won 4,937 votes in Adair County, receiving 56.80 percent of total votes in the county. McCaskill followed with 3,488 votes and received only 40.13 percent of Adair County votes.
