Students should plan ahead this weekend if they have homework because a system-wide shut down will occur Sunday.
Information Technology Services sent out a campus-wide email Sept. 1 notifying students of the need to shut down power in McClain, the powerhouse for all of Truman State University’s technology.
Not only will students on campus be without Wi-Fi and cable, but all students will lose access to Blackboard and TruView as well as their student email, according to an email sent out by Information Technology Services on Sept. 1.
IT Services will begin shutting things down at 6 a.m. on Sunday and will remain down for several hours.
