Janna Stoskopf was hired to serve as Truman State University’s vice president for student affairs beginning Jan. 11.
The decision to hire Stoskopf was announced in an email to campus Dec. 20 from University President Sue Thomas. Stoskopf was one of two candidates who visited campus in December to interview for the position. The VPSA oversees several functions on Truman’s campus, including the Student Recreation Center, the University Career Center, University Counseling Services, food services, the Student Health Center and disability services, the Multicultural Affairs Center, the Office of Residence Life, the Student Union Building, and other student activities.
Stoskopf previously served as assistant vice president and dean of student life at North Dakota State University. She has a Master of Science degree from Western Illinois University.
